We are looking to recruit a part-time residential conveyancer to join our Residential Property Department.  

We are looking for a motivated client focused individual who is at least 3+ years PQE to work 3 days a week at our friendly offices in Dover. This is an exciting opportunity to grow the Residential Conveyancing Department in our new branch office following our recent merger with Bradleys. 

The successful candidate will run a caseload of residential conveyancing matters from start to finish which will include freehold and leasehold transactions including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity. 

Duties will include:

  • The opening and closing of files and running each residential property transaction from the initial stages through to post completion. 
  • Ensuring all regulatory compliance is adhered to throughout the transaction including AML procedures.
  • Undertaking client meetings 
  • Time recording 
  • Billing
  • Communicating with other parties 
  • Undertaking such other tasks as required 
  • Business development

Candidates must possess:

  • Excellent keyboard skills 
  • Good administrative, communication and organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook and Word
  • Good IT skills and the ability to operate a case management system 
  • Sound knowledge of the rules in relation to AML, UK Finance and the Conveyancing Quality Scheme 
  • Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
  • Professional and articulate telephone manner
